Walter Crye is a Birmingham native who graduated from Alabama University at Birmingham with degrees in Criminal Justice and Business Administration. He spent 15 years in medical device sales before deciding to pursue a career in commercial insurance. The career change has given Walter the opportunity to better connect with and serve his community. As demonstrated by his achievement in obtaining the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Certified Environmental Strategist (CeS). Walter is passionate about protecting and helping local businesses. He enjoys spending time developing relationships with his clients and learning about all aspects of their businesses so he can apply his industry and technical knowledge. Walter is very active in several Chambers of Commerce chapters, including serving as President of the Mountain Brook Chamber Board, Brookwood Baptist Church, Mountain Brook Athletics, and constantly on the go with his wife, Krisalyn, and their two children.

William R. Phillips, CIC
Vice President, Commercial Account Executive
William joined Greenhalgh Insurance Agency in 2018, as a Producer, with a primary focus on Commercial Property & Casualty. Greenhalgh Insurance Agency has all the products to offer business owners and William has the aptitude to deliver fulfillment of clients’ needs. He also develops marketing and sales strategies for the Agency, along with servicing and maintaining accounts. As a Producer, William has found most rewarding the capability to help business owners protect their businesses and livelihoods. William truly enjoys working with business owners who understand the importance of security. Achieving this security, William is able to provide these business owners a peace of mind so they can focus on their day-to-day operations. William is a native of Mobile, AL and earned a Finance degree from The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). He and his wife, Meagan, have three children and are members of Church of the Highlands. They also partner with the local ministry, Blue Watch, which raises funds and awareness for first responders in the area.

Garrett Brasher
Commercial Account Executive
Garrett, a North Atlanta native, graduated from Samford University as a student-athlete, earning a Marketing Degree with a concentration in sports. After spending over four years in the financial and payment solutions industry, he transitioned to commercial insurance to follow his passion for helping business owners. As a Commercial Lines Producer at Greenhalgh, Garrett is dedicated to providing peace of mind by protecting assets, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring his clients are prepared for any challenges ahead. He strongly believes in the value of face-to-face relationships, where clients can feel confident reaching out for guidance or with any questions. Outside of work, Garrett enjoys fitness, NASCAR, and everything outdoors. He is a member of Auburn Community Church and serves as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. His commitment to helping others and supporting the business community drives his work every day.
