Our Agency

Mr. Ted Greenhalgh, a native of Birmingham, AL, established Greenhalgh Insurance Agency, Inc., in 1940. He started going door to door selling insurance to homeowners who were building their homes after Word War II. The average home value was approximately $5,000 and the standard three year policy covered Fire and Wind for a $25 premium. As people became aware of the need for insurance, Greenhalgh Insurance Agency, Inc., grew with their needs. In 1980, Russell Greenhalgh joined his father's Agency. The Agency became a third-generation family business when Ellen Roberts (daughter of Russell Greenhalgh), and Adam Greenhalgh (son of Russell Greenhalgh), joined the Agency.

We now insure all types of commercial and personal clients from large manufacturing, construction, retail and wholesale businesses to individual homes, autos, and recreational items. Greenhalgh Insurance Agency, Inc., prides itself in providing quality service in a friendly, professional manner.
